FELINE CARE - Protect your cat from infectious diseases by keeping vaccinations up-to-date. Vaccinations stimulate your cat's system to develop immunity. Because they prevent disease but they do not cure disease, the vet must administer them before your cat is exposed and infected.

SURGICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC  
SURGERIES
Our operating room is state of the art. We follow very strict protocol to ensure a sterile environment for the patient. We recommend preoperative laboratory blood analysis for a complete database.

Services included:

  • Orthopedic (fracture repair, bone pinning & plating)
  • General (spays, neuters, trauma)
  • Cosmetic (ear crops, eyelid correction)

SPECIAL (Dental including cleaning, polishing, extractions)
One of our nurses will call you after the procedure is complete and again before the closing of business to update you on your pet's condition and answer any questions you may have.

DIAGNOSTIC
Services included:

  • Endoscopy (to aid in diagnosis of disease of the stomach and other GI diseases)
  • Ultrasound (pregnancy diagnosis & evaluation, internal organ evaluation, heart function determination)
  • Radiology (x-ray)
  • Fully equipped in-house laboratory (heartworm & intestinal worm test, Feline Leukemia & FIV test, thyroid functions, blood chemistries & electrolytes, Hematology)


SPECIAL SERVICES  

BOARDING - We strongly recommend that you make reservations for boarding, especially during holidays.

Facility - Our facility is climate controlled for the comfort of your pet. Cages are stainless steel units and runs have smooth concrete floors (with grates) and walls that are cleaned and sanitized twice daily. Dogs are allowed outdoors in a double fenced exercise yard a minimum of two times daily.

 

Vaccinations
We require all pets to be current on the following vaccinations.

  • Dogs: DHLPP, Bordatella, Rabies
  • Cats: FVRCP, Rabies

Parasites/Fleas/Ticks - All animals will be checked at admission. If any parasites, fleas or ticks are found you pet will automatically be treated at owner's expense.

Feeding - Your pet is fed Purina Premium Diet. You are welcomed to bring your pet's food from home.

Illness - Any pet that becomes ill during boarding will receive immediate medical care. Please leave an emergency number where you can be reached so we can make every effort to discuss treatment.

Medication - There is an additional charge for administering medication during your pet's stay.

BATHING/GROOMING
Bathing - We give baths Monday -Saturday. Pets should be dropped off as early as possible. Bath prices for dogs are based on weight. Bath prices for cats are a set price unless sedation is necessary.

Grooming - Our professional groomer is available by reservation only. All grooms should be dropped off between 7:00-9:00 am and pick up between 5:30-6:00 pm.  Pets must be current on required vaccinations.

PET SUPPLIES
Our pet supply area offers a wide variety of premium pet foods for the different stages of your pet's life, shampoos (including medicated), vitamins, dietary supplements, milk replacers, dental supplies, leashes,
collars, etc.

HOSPITALIZATION AND CRITICAL CARE  

HOSPITALIZATION
We have a highly trained nursing staff to ensure your pet's safety and comfort during their stay.

Vaccinations - We require all hospitalized pets to be current on all vaccinations and be free of all parasites.

Requirements for dogs:

  • DHLPP
  • Bordatella
  • Rabies

Requirements for cats:

  • FVRCP
  • Rabies

Visitation - You may visit your pet at any time during regular business hours.

Financial - A deposit of 30% is required for all hospitalized patients.

Phone calls - Our staff will call after 10:00 each day with an update on your pet's condition.

Discharge - Appointments will be scheduled for discharge. This will allow the veterinarian and/or nurse  to discuss treatment, medication, etc.

CRITICAL CARE
Services include:

  • Intensive Care Monitoring Facilities
  • IV Fluid Therapy
  • In-house oxygen
  • Highly Trained Critical Care Nurses
